The traction structure of the bucket elevator includes endless chain, plate chain, and tape. The endless chain is simple in structure and manufacturing, and it is also firmly connected to the hopper. The chain wears less when conveying highly abrasive materials. However, its self-weight is relatively large, and the plate coupling structure is relatively firm and light-weight. It is suitable for hoists with large lifting capacity, but the hinge joint is easy to be worn, the structure of the tape is relatively simple, but it is not suitable for conveying materials with high abrasion.
